The system comes with a wireless mic/transmitter and a camera mounted receiver. A basic system will run you under $200, but the more advanced you go the more expensive you get. Top broadcast sytems can run upwards of $1300.

You can simply purchase a single hand held microphone with receiver. Purchase prices range anywhere from $100 to just over $1000.
