Cingular Wireless Phones: Sliding Phones to the Extreme

One of my favorite phone designs is most definitely the sliding phone. For whatever reason, it just seems cooler to have a phone that slides than one that flips or, even worse, one that does nothing at all. Cingular wireless phones are known for these kinds of sliding phones and because of their commonality Cingular phones are more and more popular.

They slide in every kind of direction, often reveal a camera or perhaps another typing pad so that you can text with more ease. They provide you with the extra space you want on a phone without the extra surface area when you do not want it to be there.
