The fact is a good wireless router installed on your existing network is all you need. Now many techies think that the more expensive routers are better, I beg to differ. My first wireless router was the $80 Linksys. It was blue and black and very simple. It was the cheapest one I could find. That router lasted 4 years before giving out. When I had to shop for a new one and I thought maybe I should spend a little more this time. I bought a $150.00 (name to be left out) wireless router. I have owned this for about 6 months now and had nothing but problems. I have returned it 2 times and have to repair my network connection every other time I use my computer. If it breaks again I am going to take it back and get to old Linksys for $80.00.
