There Is A New Wireless Alternative Available For Sprint Wireless Customers!!!

sprint wireless

Sprint Wireless has released the Sprint PCS Data Link for Wireless WAN. The service, available to wireless customers, connects end user's business WANs that use wireless technology for primary access. It also acts as a wireless backup.

Sprint PCS Data Link provides wireless remote access for mobile workers. Now, with Sprint PCS Data Link for Wireless WAN, businesses can take advantage of this same technology as a means for primary access or a backup for wireless access. Whether the service is used to replace a 56kbps frame relay connection, as an alternative to DSL, or as a backup, the security, and performance of Sprint's CDMA wireless technology will help meet critical operational needs, said Sprint representatives.

This service establishes wireless connections to multiple WAN solutions, including Sprint Link frame relay or IPSec VPNs. With a Sprint-approved wireless modem, users get average speeds of 50kbps to 70kbps over the Sprint network.

Sprint is upgrading its wireless high-speed data solutions running on the Sprint Mobile Broadband Network with Revision A technology, which reaches more than 206 million people nationwide. The company expects most of that network to be upgraded by the end of 2007. The upgrade to Revision A technology provides faster speeds to enable end users' voice, video and mobile commerce applications.
