Verizon Wireless Upgrades Capacity

verizon wireless

Verizon FiOS Web clients will now get enhanced email storage and access to their Verizon.net home email accounts with some Verizon Wireless Get It Now-enabled phones from Verizon Wireless.

Upgraded features of the enhanced Verizon email include the ability to access accounts from any PC, an improved Webmail application, greater storage capacity and an unlimited email retention period for active users. This provides Verizon customers better and easier ways to stay connected at home and on the go. Verizon also expects to eventually expand the new email offering to its Verizon High Speed Internet customers.

"Personal e-mail, including digital photo, music and video files, is a critical part of everyday life and we're making it easier for our customers to conveniently access and manage their mail," said Peter Castleton, director of Verizon Consumer Broadband Services. "This update to our Verizon.net e-mail accounts frees FiOS customers to store up to 4 GB (gigabytes) of messages online for as long as they want, plus access it online or on their cell phones with the same capabilities they enjoy at home."
