In a world of crazy competition, it is good to finally see two wireless juggernauts come together to form a huge company. Cingular wireless was a fairly new company about ten years ago. They tried to compete with the big guns of Verizon, Sprint, and AT&T. In recent wireless news, AT&T has acquired Cingular Wireless and they have formed a huge wireless service. Trying to compete with Verizon Wireless, AT&T got one step closer in competition by acquiring one of its competitors.

AT&T now covers all areas all over the country because of its Cingular coverage. Their new company slogan is Your World. Delivered. The reason behind this slogan is their amazing coverage across the country. Previously, Cingular was only available in select areas of the country. A state's largest city would easily have coverage, but once you were outside the city limits, coverage became a question.

Now with AT&T and Cingular as one company, you can feel free to roam the United States and have coverage in all areas. With alot of wireless companies to choose from, when you look at cell phone coverage in your area, do not forget about AT&T as a good provider.
